Heads above the cloud |
Mountain p2 |
|
Towards the end of a hot September day on the summit of Sgurr an Fhidhleir (The Fiddler), a cold NE breeze brings low cloud streaming into the Inverpollaidh / Coigach glen, leaving only the summit ridges of the mountains exposed to the gentle light of the falling sun. Stac Pollaidh and Suilven are instantly recognisable, with Quinag beyond and Beinn an Eoin basking in the sun in the foreground.
